£30m to spend but yet Wenger would rather keep this pile of sh#t out on the pitch today?

Posted: January 31, 2010 by thevanster in Uncategorized

HOW CAN…

It is true, convert one of the early chances and have a semi competent keeper to prevent Nani’s bit of luck and it could have been a different outcome. But…

How can Wenger say he has 30m to spend and put that pile of shit out on the pitch today? Add insult to f##king injury.

How can Wenger have watched Eduardo, Theo and Almunia – over the years, not just today – and say that we don’t need anyone? That the squad can’t be strengthened? You only have that luxury if you are top of the league. He has watched that clown (Almunia) play for years and has not bought ANYONE to replace him.

How can he watch Bendtner and decide NOT to sign a striker AFTER he promised us one? Rooney has power, pace and finishing ability. Name me one player in our squad, Cesc apart, who has that?

How can he say that he enquired for a player and then just turned away when the club said no. I got news for you, Spurs said no to United when they came in for Berbatov and Carrick…

It’s not his club, it’s our club. Wenger wants to play with his little project but the fans want success. Do we have no say? Do we not fund the club? Wenger and the board are as bad as Glazer and the Scouse-Americans. They’re just more clever in making their money.

How can he not see it? The whole f##king world sees it. If you want to develop players for the future, ship them out on loan.

It’s quite simple really:

1- Sign a new keeper

2- Never play Denilson again

3- Sign a striker

4- If you’re going to give Sagna that much creative freedom and license to attack, play Eboue.

I could manage this lot better than him.

As a fan, there is NOTHING that I look forward to more than our games against United. They are the highlight of my year. After being robbed of one and then thoroughly out classed, I’m not sure what to say. I am frustrated but in complete shock. This cannot be Arsenal, the team that went unbeaten only 5 years ago.

The team have no excuse. Wenger has no excuse. This is a horrific defeat that never should have happened. It will cause more mental damage than statistical. This is our season f##ked.

You are a cunt. Thanks for playing!

  2. chris b says:

Too much shit and not enough long ball football- I mean he has to go!

  3. I totally agree!
How many strikers did we have on in the 1st half?
    Exactly Phuck all!

  4. hilloy says:

i doubt u will be able to manage arsenal as well as Mr.Wenger i agree we should sign a keeper and striker, but play eboue instead of sagna ? are you sure ?

    • åmli says:

I think he meant that sagna should play. Wenger should play eboue in the midfield to cover for sagnas forward-runs. I think he is right, sagna goes forward a lot, and when he loses the ball he runs like a madman home, and he comes just in time most of the times. Sometimes the closest CB has to take on his duties on the counterattack, rarely the RM is able to defend well.

If sagna should continue his often runs, someone who can defend better is needed to help him, or he will haveto go forward less often. He could also run back earlier, if it doesn’t look like a sure goalscoring chance. I know wenger tells ’em what to do, but our back’s should shoot more often, so sick of the crossballs aimed at Arsh when he’s marked by 4 players. It’s a lot of stupid attacking from our back’s that create our conceeding goals, a little less attack from those two position would be a good adjustment.

  5. keeming says:

this is not the end of all horrors… Wenger claimed our 2nd and 3rd choice keepers are all “world class keepers” as well..so…I think i rather stick with Almunia than not-so-fab-ianski. its the lesser evil

In the ideal world, I would have bought Buffon.

  6. omar says:

as usual when we lose the fans tend to criticize the same players again. criticize walcott or denilson? aren’t fabregas and arshavin the stars of this team? what did those 2 do against chelsea and united? see how drogba, lampard, rooney play the big matches. im not criticizing cesc or arshavin but honestly it gets boring when every1 keeps on blaming denilson, diaby, walcott etc..

  7. hsh says:

fucking Almunia, piece of shit How fucking hard can it be to push a ball up and over the bar

  8. Arse&Nose says:

Almunia cost us in a big game again.

He never knows how to handle the occasion, look at the last few big games we have had and every single one had an Almunia error.

Denilson was also poor, how many times have we seen him not track a runner and the runner score?? If he doesnt give anything going forward and doesnt track runners going back what the fuck does he actually do for the team!?

  9. chris says:

never want to see almunia or denilson in an arsenal shirt again, but we cant just blame the sh1t inept players, arshavin shouldnt ever have to play as the main striker it is BEYOND farsical that we have 30 million to spend and we carry on with a 5ft 7 (?) inch player who is being played out of position…

    today was beyond embarassing…

we travel 400 miles round trip 2 watch a load primma donnas runnig around in yellow, blue, pink, green, boots+polar neck jumpers and gloves no passion,Bolton 1st halve was bad !today was awful!!!!!!! bring in BIG TONY!

  10. arizzy says:

Too right mate. That joker in goal is just unbelievable. Can somebody tell me what Almunia has over Wenger please, there must be something he has over wenger. You look at Arsenal and its midgets all over the place, why can’t we buy some fucking men to play for us instead of these little boys. Watch this space he’ll come out and say we were the better team. Please go Wenger we have had enough of ur sh******t

  11. Danish Gooner says:

It was shockingly poor……like watching a Fiat Punto taking on a Lamborghini Gallardo in Le Mans.

  12. DCO says:

Almunia is a joke, Denilson more so. 30 million and David Villa is just lip service for fans who are rightfully upset with us not buying a striker.

What a joke wenger is becoming

  13. Gunnerboy says:

    Where is the greatest sinbad?

  14. td says:

We can’t cross for shit. No one is in the box even if by some miracle we manage to get a decent ball in.

Today will hopefully be the wake up call Wenger needs to get someone with a winning mentality into our squad.

Another season tropyless is now inevitable.

Not a knee jerk reaction, it’s been proven time and time again that this squad can’t win anything.

If Wenger says “I believe in this team” any more I’ll tear up my season ticket…

    • åmli says:

So true man, I think you named the main problem, and the easiest and most effective solution to get back in the title-race. I agree with a lot of the above oppinnions, but I was looking for a similer assesment as I have, fans commenting the root of the problem. I did not count the above comments, but there were a lot and very much the same comment over and over. I agree with most of them too, the thing is, it just that it looks like the fans have not seen many matches, just read about it in the papers and concurred with that. People have told me the same thing you are saying about shit crossers from our backs, maybe thats right, but I don’t think they have a fair task going forward. Who on this earth can cross a football 20-50 meters to the head of a midget surrounded by half-a-team in the box, the answer is not even messi or ronaldo.

Wenger is attacking with more and more of the team every year, looks like the keeper is next in line to go forward. Arsenal has been attackminded ever since wenger started his work, and now everyone has got offensive duties, even both CB. It is the reason for our positive season, but it is time to think a bit defence now, to many goal against us on counterattack. There will be problems when one CB is in attack, both backs are on the attack and we loose the ball. If one CB is on the opponents half, only one back can go forward.

It only lookes like crossers are shit, cause they cross to the head of the striker when he is totally outnumberd. The solution seems to be a tall striker like the fans and papers point out. This is of course true if we are to continue our current tactics, and also common sense when our strikers are fragile, lasting max 5 games in row without ending up at physio. One of those striker is our main striker who is out for months, lately we have been using a good midfielder as a poor striker, that harms us double. Arshavin who scored 4 goals against liverpool from midfield-position, has not been scoring, he is not as claimed in FM and FIFA10, midfield/attacker, he has proved he is a midfielder who scores many goals. He is a dribbler and good at finding space to run into, he can dribble 3-4 guys and score, he can get the ball from 30 meters and plunk it into the net with power an prescision, he knows when to get in the box when the right pass comes and place the ball well. He is not a tall player, you can not curl balls at his head, but that is happening now, and I do not understand why mr. wenger does this. He is still the manager who playes the most entertaining football, most of the things he does work out really well, this one thing is the most bizarre thing he has ever done however. The solution is free, stop crossing at midgets or buy a tall striker.

Wenger should not ask his backs cross when there is no hope. Sagna runs so often to the corner flag to cross a ball with no hope, then he sprints back home, he could probably run a marathon. He and the other players who are instructed to cross when there is no hope is going to improve that bit of their game, sadly it cost us a lot of counter-attacks, that often results in goals. The other thing is that they must tire before the game is over, and our WB are often getting injured, they should hold back more often. A big striker would be good, but not needed. A good prospect in CB, who can play when needed for the rest of the season would be nice. A good keeper would be nice, or let one of the younger keepers to make the mistakes almunia is doing a lot of. Denilson is probably a good cover for Song, but he is not good and should be gone soon. No other players are needed. If the point of crossing into the box is to tire the opposing team before we attack, then I can understand it, but if they are really trying to get a goal then they should shoot towards the striker and hope for fumbling from their defence and keeper

  15. Jerry says:

The first poster is the true cunt. I couldn’t agree more Sagna has no idea what to do in the final third. WHat a waste of space Aluminium and Denilson are seriously.

  16. keeming says:

Has anyone counted the games when our keepers directly cost us the game? Be it Almunia, Fabianski, Vito? I think there should be quite a few this season alone. I dont think any team in the top 8 of BPL has such a pathetic set of keepers….

  17. Cesc Fabregas says:

    I have had enough

I am off to a club that can win things

  18. Arse&Nose says:

Keeming, that would be an interesting stat, im sure if i had half a day to go through every fixture since Lehman left I could find 20 games where we lost due to goalkeeping errors.

    • keeming says:

Yes, I am aware of that, but on the other hand, Lehmann had days when he single-handedly won us games. Vito had one such game. Name any almunia had in all his years here? Betcha it wont be more than 5. Or 3. Or 2. Or maybe 1?

Besides, Lehmann is largely entertaining even when losing. He had character, personallity while the current sad sod in goal has none. Lehmann’s mistakes were primarily the result of complacency, not incompetence.

  19. frankie brooks says:

You are clearly not a true arsenal fan, wenger is arsenal, people take for granted that we qualify for the champions league year after year playing the best football inn the league. While other clubs invest heavily year after year like to do this like spurs wenger guarantees it every year with the club making significant profits annually. We are the only team to go a season unbeaten wenger deserves all the time he wants, if wenger never came to arsenal we would probably be languishing mid-table still playing in highbury and having to spend massive amounts to sign quality players like other clubs. Instead we are in the emirates we have fabregas(free), clichy(free), van persie(4.5), the amount of bargains on this mans CV are unbelievable. I hate fans who feel the club and manager owe them arsenal are a joy to watch season after season

    • skaka says:

wenger is NOT arsenal you stupid, if david dein did not employed him then arsenal wont be in this state..so goes the story about anelka, bergkamp, henry, bla..bla..bla..wenger’s boys project is a big failure but he’s to arrogant to admit it, a manager who once untouchable is simply having post power syndrome..wake up!!! That good memory is now only a story for my kids, but they only knew that we keep losing to our real title contender.

      • åmli says:

Wrong dude, and what the fuck does it matter what the club did in 1978 or 1929. Yes, we have a long history, we have had championships under george graham, we have been in europe before wenger. The thing is no supporter demanded arsenal to win neither the prem or europe, now people get upset when we get 2nd in prem and lose the semi in europe. Thats just stupid, and next to impossible when our manager refuses to play ugly football to win. Wenger is Arsenal cause arsenal is now known in the world as the club that plays the most entertaining football in the world, it has marked us through 10-15 years. Every supporter of any another team we play will say it will be the most exciting game of the year, and will be without hope if wenger has just a few injuries.

We are playing this way cause of wenger, the players are thrilled to play like this, the supporters demand it. I also think we are so close this year he should buy big to win the title, but he has chosen not to do that, I still want him to manage even if I dont understand him sometimes. It would be good to get som classplayers, but if wenger was to leave we would have to buy many new players, and lost our biggest stars who are not as much loyal to arsenal as they are to wenger and the game he plays. And if he feels this season is lost already and just want to give less good players some games to aid their development, I say the same thing I said last year OK.

I have been spoiled by wenger and entertaining football. If he leaves arsenal, I might have to go with him to support his new team, after 23 years. can only watch Arsenal and barcelona now.

  20. dilly says:

    Spot on mate.

Denilson once again failing to pick his man up for the 2nd goal.

  21. GoonerSinceThe80s says:

Denilson. No pace. Gives the ball away often. Commits uneeded freekicks. Does not track runners.

Game after game, goal replay after goal replay, its Denilson who seems to lack the pace to get back at the runner.

My list of Arsenal players, who shouldn’t be.
-Almunia. (4th choice for spain, says it all really)
    -Denilson.(Simply not good enough)
-Bendtner, (All talk, but has he actually done anything? been at the club since 04/05.
-Walcott (All promise, never delivers, don’t give me that “he’s still young bullsh*t”.

  22. Danish Gooner says:

Almunia, feel sorry for the lad but not up for it.
Clichy, feel very sorry for the lad but not up for it.
Vermaelen, tried his best but this is a truly awful Arsenal defense and he didnt do enough to help himself, today.
    Gallas,Geriatric.
    Sagna,consitently consitent out of position.
    Song,Slow as a tortoise,awful today,now i know why i used to dislike him.
Denilson, not a Pl footballer let alone nationwide.
Fab,gave up early and were bullied by Manure, weak.
Arshavin, put in the effort but were unlucky, tried hard very hard but fought a losing battle.
Nasri and Rosicky, awfully exposed and showed by Fletcher of all people what a real midfielder is all about.

  23. BLOODRED says:

I don’t blame you Cesc ,you have my blessing son……….

  24. Joel says:

No, seriously, I can imagine how dickless was your response to the loss to Chelsea. This is not a knock-out competition, you fool.

  25. browny says:

I am normally a very optimistic gooner but this was a worrying defeat. In late Dec I was pleased we had got back in the title race and that the Jan transfer window arrived so we could buy the 1-2 players to push for the title. Most of our recent games with Utd have come down to scoring at effective counter-attacking, something we were the masters of with TH, DB, RP and PV. We had as many counter attacks as Utd especially early on with Arshavin but he could not play the final ball as there was no-one keeping up with him. This is because we had no recognised striker with a strikers instinct to attack the 6 yard box. Watch back over the counter attacks of Arsenal and Utd in this game and you will see 2-3 players busting a gut to attack the box on Utd’s attacks awaiting the wide ball coming in. When Arshavin got forward the nearest support at the critical time to play the ball into the box was some 40yds behind him. Even with TW not being the finished article we could have played him through the middle with his pace at least giving Arsavin an option in the box and Utd some food for thought. as it was we let them know early on not to fear us on the counter and that Arshavin would have to do it alone therefore giving them the confidence to commit players forwards without fear. Walcott and Bendtner are supposed to become strikers. If they are not used in this situation then when. Arshavin is actually a midfielder who can play in the hole striker, so with Nasri and Rosicky alongside him up front you could actually say we had a back 4 and 6 midfielders and no recognised striker. i am afraid we lost this due to a tactical mistake in our starting line up not giving us balance and if we did not have the players to give us this balance we should have bought before this most vital run of games (from villa) which would see us in or out of the tital race.

    • keeming says:

Nasri or was it cesc? was bursting a gut to keep up with Arshavin but that !_#)!_@ decide to shoot instead when a pass was the simplest of option. And he did that 3 times today, such was his selfishness to get on the score sheet of a big match.

Make no mistake, he had a poor game today.

  26. keeming says:

I dont know, still think Wenger’s hands are tied, and hence, the youth project.

He was the one who presided over the Invincibles Team. He should know quality when he sees it. How he can make a statement to the effect of “this team is my best team yet” is quite beyond me.

  27. Fabby says:

I don’t know what to say. I feel sorry for my beloved Arsenal FC. The club has to do something. We can’t just play for the CL place. We are Arsenal FC & it’s not enough to play in 3 rd or 4th in the PL. We know what Mr. Wenger done for the club, but we if he can’t take us further so the club should say it loud. AFC are bigger than every single person. Something has to be done, sooner rather than later. Thank you.ther than later. Thank you.

  28. shooy says:

So you could manage this lot beter than Wenger? That tells us all we need to know. I trust you are just a bit over wrought and carried away, but you’ve just come across as an arrogant conceited gobshite. I’m sure you’re not.

    • keeming says:

i think u are the one getting emotional.

I was making the point that if Wenger has to lie that this team is quality, he is over-compensating for the panic that would spread if he displays no confidence in this lot. ?I trust Wenger’s eye for talent. He knows this lot cant hack it, but its the best he can do under the circumstances.

      • shooy says:

I see barely a trace of emotion in what I said. I was careful to say how you had come across, nothing else. I believe Wenger is being honest when he says he has an abundance of quality. Who are you to say he is lying about his belief. I happen to think there is considerable quality there as well and more than in most other teams in the country. But my own thoughts and what I might think Wenger really thinks about it are irrelevant beyond my own mild amusement.

  29. goonermichael says:

Wenger should fuck off and take his love children with him.

  30. alex says:

    3 people at fault today:

    1. Wenger, bad tactics, no signings, way to naive. He has to go, FIRE HIM!!!!!! NOOOOOOOOWWW

2: Dinilson. Didn’t do anything today, Arsenal played with 10 men untile he was subbed. first two united goals, Denilsons fault both. He let Nani free on the first, and Rooney on the second. Dreadful marking, lazy useless puts

3: Arshavin. Fair to say that everything that Arsenal created was Arshavin. ut he also wasted it all. Can’t hit the target to save his life, if he passed to Nasri and Cesc when he created the first two chance, it would have been 2 – 0 gunners. But he was blind and selfish, he has a big part in this loss.

But wenger has no defencive options at all. Gallas was brilliant the first 30 minutes, Vermaelen too, but they both went to attack and left Clichy alone in defence. If u play CB, then STAY IN DEFENCE for gods sake!!! And Almunia is a joke, what a loser! 1 save fro Rooneys long shot that even Arshaving could have saved if he was played in goal. 1 own goal and one almost assist to Nani. Tell me people, what does he even do between the sticks? Is he just a name on the teamsheet cuz FIFA requires a gaolkeeper present in every game? In that case put the ballboy in the goal, even he would do a better job… Arsenal’s defence is disgusting….oh wait….what defence? They were never there!!! Vermaelen in attack, Gallas suddently a striker, and clueless Gael that watches Park put one past gunners’ “goalkeeper” is all defence Arsenal had today. Bye bye title, bye bye any chance of any trophy, bye bye any chance of ever beating any team above top 6…. Gradually Arsenal become weaker and weaker. This is the new Leeds. Selling all the good ones, keep all the crap and all the “home grown” players, and go down to League One….

    • TonyM says:

That was the funniest shit i’ve ever read. cheered me up after watching the babies get walked all over again.
I said on here last week we were kidding ourselves if we thought we could win the league with the worst keeper in the premier league and no striker. Honestly how can wenger not see that. He is considered one of the best coaches in the world and he really believed we could win the league with no striker and almunia in goal. He must be losing his mind.
We;ve taken 4 humiliating beatings at emirates from united and chelsea in the last 9 months. How many more before something is done byt wenger or the board???

  31. danny j says:

arsene wenger the destroyer.thumbs up for him?no he deserves the middle finger for turning arsenal into a shit outfit.his name is arsene and silly he thinks he owns the team.when will this bastard learn to listen?a striker will have buried those first half chances that the little russian wasted.l am fed up with this team,no keeper no engineroom,no striker but only thrash.

Fergies tactics was spot on. He knew arsenal would go guns blazing leaving the back unprotected, heck we do it all the time.
If arsenal had a different approach with arshavin on the left nasri on the right and bendtner in the middle with gallas and vermelen staying put i assure you the result would be VERY different. oH wELL!!!!!!!!!

  41. Fabby says:

We should spend the £30 m on Pep Guardiola.

  42. keeming says:

    Cant resist another statement.

Seriously guys, what do you expect? This loss is not at all surprising, consider the quality on display. And actually, getting into top 4 every year is a great business model! Ask any Spurs fan! The squrriel has more CL experience than them, remember?

According to FM 2010, after 3 lean years, Arsenal would be the richest club in the world. I now have 100 plus million every year for transfers and i have no idea how to spend them! Trust FM, our time will come.

    • alex says:

trust FM? what are u insane? This is not a game. In FM u can win with players that ur scouts say will become “leading stars”. Or if u are very good at exploiting the strenghts of every player in a tactic that fits. Wenger can’t do any of those. And I do believe that developing talent is a good idea, but the key word here is talent. Where is the talent in Almunia? What does Clichy have other than pace? No sense of positioning, bad tackler and can’t manage a cross… What talent does Denilson posess? tell me…. And what is he point of developing players if they are sold the second we get a good price? Why was Hleb sold? Why wasn’t flamini kept? Wenger also rejected Zlatan as a 17 year old, Yaya Toure a couple of years ago, and failed to sign Christiano Ronaldo cuz united payed more for him…

  43. frankie brooks says:

`WENGER 4 LIFE, yous are all glory hunting idiots. That man has done so much 4 the club, he would die 4 the club he has given the club its most memorable years, no true arsenal fan could ever call 4 his head

    • skaka says:

youre obsessed to wenger..you should go to a shrink and this “in arsene we trust” blind frogs can eat all his shit lies from now on.. He’s the only one to blame, not those sissy players he brought to humiliate the club and the loyal fans

The balance of the midfield is just not there. As for denilson,i was at villa park on wednesday and he shockingly shit then and today. It is clear to see when we come up against teams who can play football and are physical we get ruined.its no surprise really.it keeps hapening over and over again.no balance in the team.im just gutted right now.we all know he should have bought a striker.chlichy i beleive is a world class left but the combination of low confidence and recently coming back from injury is really really showing. For me,a midfield comprising of song, fabregas and diaby is potentially world class.song has done fantastic and we must bare in mind how much he has played and that he has just come back from the AFN.So to be fair he did look a bit tired today but lets be fair he has done well this season.with the adition of a striker like chamack,a phyical goal scorer hit man could be the difference. Deep down i feel the beggining of next season, with our team as a whole more experienced and hopefully alot of our players having experienced playing in a world cup(big pressure/biggest stage) we might so a great improvement.Just how we have a seen a huge improvement from last year if we are to be fair.were just not there yet.the combination of all this mite just put as back in real title competition next year.as of this year,i dont think we will win anything.im wondering what everyone else thinks.

    • Del Boy says:

      This time next year….
We’ve been saying that for years now.

In the meantime let’s all queue up at the end of the season to have our photos taken with the Arsenal balance sheet. Much better than winning something, eh!

  45. Pritpal says:

To be honest i don’t really give a sh*t about these supposed transfer budgets and interests in players anymore. all i do is get my hopes up and get let down. Everyone in the world knows we need a striker and everyone knows wenger will not buy. if he has 30m i want a formal bid stating we bid for him, not that valencia are unwilling to sell because it seems like bullsh*t. dzeko aswell, he’s 30m ain’t he so spend the money! i’m really hurting after this defeat!!!

  46. frankie brooks says:

wenger built a side of quality b4 never spending over the odds, there is serious inflation of prices on players who are sub-standard at the moment and i am happy wenger is not buying into it

  47. Rendani says:

The game today is one that we will hardly forget. I think Wenger is a good manager who is just becoming stupid every year. He no longer have that hunger he used to have. He had the money to spend and painfuly not his money. He should have bought 2 to 3 players, but did n’t bother. I wish our next game was not against Chelski because with this lot, it is going to be worse.

  48. Wrighty_7 says:

that was the worst performance for arsenal in years.. wenger needs to understand that this team is not good enough to win a carling cup let alone the league. Arshavin was missing as he has been since he signed! he only turns up in two games a season:Liverpool home and away. He thinks hes better than everyone else hence the reason he didn’t want to pass. Song is decent at his best which he wasn’t today he looked tired. Since V.Persie got injured we have been very very lucky to be where we are. for the past 6-7 games we have won games where we shouldn’t have. we don’t play half as good as when V.Persie is heading our attack. Fabregas can’t do it alone. Wenger needs to replace clichy/traore/gibbs in the summer with a real full back not one that makes mistakes but runs faster than Usain Bolt. Speed is not a replacement for positioning.

  49. rk says:

come on just keep the faith , i will get alot of stick when i go to school from united fans but u no we have to keep faith through bad and good times its just we are hitting the bad time ,we can hopefully get back in with a win against chelsea

  50. Wrighty_7 says:

Fergie has mastered playing us in the emirates. Eduardo/Arshavin/Clichy/Bendtner all need to be replaced. It is very sad to see in the past 3 years our full backs i.e Clichy and Sagna haven’t put one good service to the strikers. none of them can cross a ball. count how many times sagna hits it on the first defender in game its shocking to say the least. for a club who have produced the best full backs in the last 30yrs they just don’t cut it. Cashley love him or hate was class as you can see now, Lauren was excellent too. lets not even mention prior to these two.

  51. paolo says:

The funny thing about what wenger said was that, its the players that didnt play at stoke, that didnt play well…. If you remember denilson played against stoke!! meaning wenger probably thought he played well…. im sure he will get his spreadsheet out and analyse how under-rated denilson is.

Wenger simply talks bollox, When people ask him to buy, he will say why, when we have the best goal scoring record in the league. thats all well and good when arsenal can beat 15 of the 20 teams in the league but when it comes to the ”big teams” we are sh!te in front of goal… to be honest we could of scored 4-5 goals today. but when you dont have a out and out finisher, wenger makes himself look stupid.

  52. trollz says:

this is my new fav blog!!! after ANR of coz.

  53. jamie m says:

i want Wenger and his marmite players gone now.Another humiliation and another season without a trophy, fuck this shit

  54. Gman says:

You chaps are shocking…..you want the moon on a stick. I’ve been a gunners fan all my life and I’ve seen some sorry performances. Today wasnt great, it sucks losing to Man U. But to rip into players like this?

Not achieving anything is it? We as fans need to turn up at Ashburton and cheer them on and show them we want them to win. It was too quiet today. We need to support our team, Geordies support newcastle and they are shit…but they still fill their stadium with mad fans every week.

Support the team and Wenger, they didnt become crap overnight, its still possible to win the league, so lets try and believe that its possible.

    Gman

  55. frankie says:

reading some of the comments i couldn’t agree more. How can wenger can find gem like fabregas and then partner him with denilson. have to centreback like gallas and verm and the sticka shit goalkeeper behind them. quite frankly if it was for fabregas and vermalen we would dead on our arses this season. 6 players out in the summer. some of themn are complete dros and wouldn’t play for any other team in the top 10 prem let alone the top 4. How wenger can look at the goal scoring record of eduardo, walcott and vela and this he did need another striker is beyond me.

  56. Arsedoctor says:

Get a life the lot of you. If it wasn’t for wenger we would be fighting with villa and spurs for uefa cup places. The guy performs miracles.

Today was a bad day at the office. We outplayed man u at old trafford with the same squad only a few months ago. The team didn’t perform today, it doesn’t mean they are bad overnight, it means they were bad today.

The team does need strengthening but strengthening means buying players that are better than ours. Who does anyone suggest is available in january that we should have bought?

    • Wrighty_7 says:

yeah your right but these are the games the team need to show that there good enough. we could have bought/loan Huntelaar. Wenger had no intention of buying i mean look at his half hearted attempt on Smalling! Like someone posted earlier its been lip service from wenger for the past 2 years. He is always coming out saying “yes we will buy if we can find someone who improves the team” mate this team needs a few improvements, we’re not exactly cruising at the top are we. Ancelotti can come and say something like that hard as it maybe for a gooner to say this but they don’t seem to need anybody their the best team in the league by a margin.

  57. Arsenal4life says:

I find it funny how some people think they can manage arsenal better then wenger but can’t actually spell.

    • cashman says:

Or string a coherent sentence together :-). In case you missed it… it’s ‘than Wenger’ rather than ‘then wenger’. You might want to check it next time.

  58. ggggg says:

ITHINK FAB YOU CAN GO INSTEAD OF WASTING YOUR TIME BECAUSE YOU CANT WIN ANYTHING WITH A SUCH ALOGANT WENGER THEY GIVE YOU 30M TO SPEND YOU REFUSE WHY SHOW ME WHICH CLUB AMONG THE TOP 10 HAVE SUCH STUPID GOALKEEPERS LIKE THE ONE ARSENAL HAVE SEE THE FULL BACKS WE HAVE SAGNA,CLICHY ARE THEY REALLY FIT TO WEAR ARSENAL SIRT AND YOU EVEN DONT HAVE A STRAIKER ARSHAVIN WILL NEVER BE ASTRIKER PLIZ MAY BE YOU WANT TO STILL OUR 30M F***K U MR WENGER

  59. Mike says:

    Well said!

  60. BigL says:

Buying a player now would be pointless. We needed the player at the start of Jan so he could have been integrated into the team for the Man U, Chelsea, Liverpool games.
Any chance of the league has gone, the FA cup has gone and rest assured the champions league will be gone soon enough.

Not buying a player was negligence on the part of Wenger. He knew the players were injured and has known about these games since the fixtures were announced. Any decent manager would have ensured that we had cover in place. Of course not Wenger, he’d rather send a team without a striker out to face United.

I don’t understand why he doesn’t get a hard time from the fans. Every webcast I have listed to or interview he always get some muppet asking him think questions like ‘if you were are flower what would you be?’ fuck that nonsense.

  61. johnny boy says:

No more excuses, just fuck off Wenger, youve lost it and now times up

  62. Ant says:

Agree with a lot of comments about todays match especially around the keeper, Almunia has never won us a game has he? I cannot recollect him having a consistent run of games which makes you feel he is worthy to tend goal for a top class club. I mean its not like Arsene hasn’t been warned…..semi final in the champs league springs to mind!!! If Lehman made a mistake he was dropped as like a bad cold. It just goes to show how much faith he has in his backup keepers. Denilson shocking again, Arshavin looking to be the glory hound if he would have squared that first chance to Rosicky or Fabs different game. 24 hours to buy come guys lets not kid ourselves if he wanted to go for it he would of made his move by now – blind faith or stubbornness call it what you will how much more are we or Fabregas willing to take watching or playing with players not up to scratch?

  63. GoonerForLife says:

My question is….why bother to tell us how much money we have to spend, if we all know Wenger won’t spend it?

I mean, seriously do they think it makes the fans feel better? I would feel much better if they told me Arsenal have no money in the transfer account and we will have to make do with what we have. Don’t tell me crap about 30mill and still have no striker and Almunia in goal.

  64. mo says:

guys…i dont know wot to say….how am gona show my face at work tomorrow with those man utd supporters?

i am lost for words….this wasnt a bad day at the office. this was something else, and we cant blame it on experience anymore. we have been blaming it on that for the laast 4 years. how much more experience do they f’ckin need?

almunia and denilson are absolutely crap, dont know y wenger plays them?someone give me the answer to that. am hoping clichy is going to leave in the summer, if there are any buyers?he is young yet he looks worse then silvestre now at left back, y? walcott….i honestly dont know, the kid looked so good when he started playing for us but hasnt shown any signs of improvement. its all good having potential but actually fulfilling it is a different thing all together.

i think personally our problem is we attack too much, i mean come on y the hell do both centre backs need to join the attacks?aint our midfielder and forwards not good enough to do that themselves?stick to what u know thats what i say, let the attackers do the attacking and the defenders do the defending. when did u ever c manu or chelseas centrebacks go running forward in a normal attacking situation other then corners or maybe free kicks?

i am hoping wenger will change something, he cant keep using the same excuses, its clear to everyone we need some neq quality experiences signings, we cannot keep buying players with potential anymore. he cant keep sayin look at how many goals we have scored, thats not a good argument to say y we dont need a striker. look at the goals and ul c our so called strikers have not score many. i dont care how many goals a team scores, u still cant go half a season without a proper striker.

f’cking hell am depressed. i been supporting arsenal for a long time now, am fed up, o well mayb next season hey?lol

  65. james says:

ive said it once and ill say it again arshavin has cost us yet again hes a greedy little prck who looks out for number 1 we could have scored 6 in the first 15 mins if he would use his very gifted football brain but decides to shoot

  66. dan says:

He’s made mugs of us again, another season wasted.
How long have we got to wait for these players to shine.
Seems like we have been saying the same thing for the last 3-4 years.
All arsenal are worried about is money i.e 4th spot, they need to spend to take us to the next level and wont.
We want our football club back.

  67. Gooner For Ife says:

I agree with james! Ashavin pissed me off in the first half….totally selfish!

  68. Quicksnog says:

Why not admit that it was a poor and naive team performance ? Picking on a few scapegoats + the manager is always the reaction to any setback. We were caught short defensively for the first goal (3 players could and should have stopped that cross and the keeper should have done better), the other two were breakaways where there was insufficient cover when we lost the ball at their end with all defenders forward. We could have had the biggest centre forward in the world in the side and he wouldn’t have prevented those 3 goals. United are superb on the break and if you allow them to do that then you get punished. Wenger would have prepared them for that but they didn’t implement. Blame the whole side.

  69. nickoman says:

Everyone needs to wake up manure took the piss out of us today. There have been too many rubbish players in the Arsenal team for too long and i have now lost faith in Wengers judgement.
    1. Almunia average at best must be replaced
2.Fabianski very poor must be sold
3.clichy is absolutely rubbish must be sold
    4. sagna average-good but not arsenal class
5.denilson is shit must never play again for us
6.bendtner is far of being Arsenal class loan him or sell him
7.walcott must play as a striker or be sold he is not a winger
wenger u cannot make chapatti without flour u need to revise ur ingredients we have had enough i dont recognise my arsenal

  70. garymurray says:

Shea Given????Why did we let him get by???

  71. Randy Osae says:

Guys, you won’t believe this but this is coming from the Daily Mail.

It’s over: Arsenal manager plans on Monday resignation

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1247561/Arsenal-manager-plans-on-resignation

  72. Buzz3210 says:

Well after yet more nonsense on the pitch and the knee jerk reactions i have read so far it looks like at one stage we were 11 points behind chavs then we caught them now by next weekend we could be back to 11 points behind you could not make it up sometimes i really do hate football AAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGG

  73. MalcyR says:

I’m Arsene Wenger, and playing that useless runt Denilson today was my idea.

  74. Jinks says:

    1) The only other Premier League team Almunia would get into is Wolves. Look for yourselves.
    2) Denilson is arguably the second worst brazilian midfielder bar Lucas
    3) We have too many of the same style players in our team, arshavin, rosicky, nasri, fab are all individually good players but in the same team they nullify eachother
    4) Lack of strength in depth, time to let go of all these players who aren’t good enough to play for Arsenal.
    5) Wenger did a great job for us with men in the team, he can’t achieve the same thing with boys. Youth policy is a good thing when it’s intertwined with established talent. He needs to let go of this fascination or, as hard as it is to admit, he needs to walk.

  75. hers says:

Traore and Gibbs is better players then Gael Clichy, Arsenal very shelfish (Arshavin) in front of the box. Arsenal must stop ball watching and attack the ball. how sad, another season without a trophy and Arsene was never going to buy any players.

  76. fabregas says:

i am embrassed about this result its all wengers fault i knew with the current swuad we wont win anything not for a long time the team was outplayed by united and when it come to physical teams they lose wenger is the problem for the club not the solution thats the difference between man utd nd ferguson he knoes how to win trophys he is goin got win the carling cup i would love to se eman utd go a year without a trophy ecxept they are not as shit as arsenal i am aarsenal supporter but i have to amdit that wenger didnt buy anyone he should of all and now all my friends that support man u r giving me so much shit!!!!!!! its not funny im so pissed off everyone that supports arsenal chelsea winl fuck us up liverpool we wil win and thats it we are out of the race so don’t get exited we won’t win anything

  77. georgyopillis says:

your a cunt. we did shit, but none of your arguements are viable you ignorant prick. you think that its that easy managing a football club, 30mill is A LOT Of money, dont you think? this aint fuking football manager alright thats what most of you pricks on the INTERNET think this is, well wake the fuck up its reality you dumbasses.

im not saying wenger was entirely correct with his approach to the squad and purchases as of late, though you could have pushed for more valid arguements.

“How can Wenger have watched Eduardo, Theo and Almunia – over the years, not just today – and say that we don’t need anyone?” do not class these guys in the same category as not good enough, although almunia may be the only exception, eduardo was clearly a phenomenal striker pre-injury and media abbuse, walcott is still developing and ofcourse he has shown the talent required to make it at the top level and at more times than not, he has not shown it, but he has eveyrhting in his gameplay to be effective and make it. only one thing id agree with you in this article, denilson shouldnt wear our shirt again.

  78. yash says:

Come on guys…i agree with almunia…but..denilson..give him a break…what we need is another STIKER…almunia was at fault for the first goal…but arshavin’s poor decision cost us the game!!When manure scored the first 1..we could have been 3 up by then!

  79. CoN GooNer says:

WELL SAID FABSTER!! COULDNT HAVE PUT IT BETTER MYSELF!! 1 STRIKER AND WE WILL WIN THE LEAGUE!!! WENGERS DAYS ARE NUMBERED!!

  80. sam says:

Until AW solves the defene problem the gunners will continue to flatter with their poetry on which incidentally doesnt result in victories but get beaten comprehensively. He shd know by now teams aint going to give the gunners the time and space to play their sexy socce. They are going to throw a monkey wrenc h to spoil the gunners momnetum. That to AW is anti soccer. Well if the other team like this and wins who cares.
Instead in the space of two season the gunners have been thoroughly beaten by the two top teams.
He etter know other teams are going to flood the mid field and invite the gunners to attack. Once the attack breaks a well coordinated counter strike with acres of space will result in goals at the Arsenal end.The gunner attack cant find momentum because the other side will mass defenders.Still the gunners try to thread their way in.
By the way the gunners had more shots at goal thn MU. The difference was the MU attackers had acres of space and less defenders to contend with.

  81. dash says:

This is the funniest website I’ve ever read.

All I hear stuff is like, “LET’S SIGN BUFFON! SACK WENGER! Etc etc”.

It really is written by unintelligent people with no life experience outside of a pub or a 7/11.

    Funny though!

  82. cashman says:

It was heartwrenching to see Arsenal capitulate like we did yesterday. Did anyone else get the sensation of watching a group of schoolboys? I’m not talking about their physical age (we have enough players in or approaching their mid-20’s for these not to be labelled kids), but more their mental strength. They folded in the tackle, panicked at the counter attack and flapped when moving into dangerous positions. The maturity and poise was lacking as it does when we meet a mature team.

The same feeling was experienced when we played Chelsea last. The fact is these lads do not have the mental strength that Wenger has openly bragged about the last 2 years.

I’ve said it for 2 years. Almunia is simply not good enough. He never will be. He lacks any control over the back 4. When he jitters so do they. Almunia does not dominate and every time the goal is under attack from the opposition I feel that we will concede. If *I* feel these them bet your ass that Wenger and the rest of the Arsenal team surely MUST feel this. In which case why the hell stick with him?

Denilson is lightweight. Plain and simple. He’s a mid table player. After 18 months+ of regular 1st team football he still passes sideways and still cannot tackle. He’s cursed with not being good enough as an attacking midfielder or as a defensive one in an Arsenal shirt. Stats are good but the reality is he offers us no dimension in either creativity in attack or safety in defence.

Sagna has had a very poor season. Plain and simple. He is better than that though has not been the same player since he lost his brother strangely enough.

Clichy is going backwards. I know he’s had a prob this year with injury but his decision making is woeful at the moment. He has cost us some significant losses because of this. His energy is great but he struggles when against wingers with real pace (Nani and young are two recent examples).

And it is glaringly obvious we miss a top striker. It’s been obvious since RVP got injured. Without him we lack poise and direction. Yes we’ve scored loads of goals without him, however we would be (and have been) screwed if goals dry up from midfielders. Well guys… goals have dried up from midfield so where does that leave us against strong defensive teams? It leaves us 3-1 down or 0-0 draws.

It’s a disgrace that Wenger makes 45m on the sale of Adebarndoor and Kolo, loses our number 1 striker for the majority of a season, has 2 strikers in Bendtner and Eduardo in and out of the treatment room, has Arshavin playing with a long term foot injury and a documented £30M+ to spend and all we end up with is a 35 year old has been on a 6 month loan. It’s almost laughable.

Huntelaar would have been a good move. A very good one IMO. Good age, big game experience, international and a true predator in front of goal. Two footed and scores with his head as well as having a point to prove. Yet all we hear is about an untried Chamakh who may or may not come in the summer on a free. FFS… really??!! That’s the best we can do??!! I know it’s only 1 game but I seriously worry for keeping Cesc now. Arsenal are looking worryingly like a selling club and Cesc wants to win stuff. His performances show this clearly. If the team won’t step up he is gonna have little choice but to leave. And then… we’re left with another lad with potential. I’m getting sick of Potential. It’s about time we actually talked about a team that wins games against the big boys.

  83. Ash says:

What a crock of shit agaist utd yesterday. sell diaby eboue rosicky and walcott. get in babel and a striker and maybe another midfielder. wenger needs to sign some players! Bendtner is fuckin shite aswell and i cant believe we let that fuckin korean cunt score past us thats like lettin berbatov scoring!

  84. for how long r we going to watch this man kill our beloved club?rvp gets injured en he copmes out to say he will definately buy a replcement, coma jan en he says hes luking around 4 t best, suddenly he changes en says he could not find the player he was looking for,y they r all over the place, africa, south america europe etc,he feel good when he keeps money in the bank, that is his problem, ecstatic about money en young boys,he should leave the club now we r tired of this f**king sh*t,how sturbon can a man get?im tired of this crap,i cant stand him anymore, im off to drawn my sorrows in the pup,i hate you wenger, go to hell

  85. real gooner!! says:

what the fuck is wrong with u arsenal fans?? last week u all saying we the best team ever..and 1 defeat we need to change eveyone? fuck off and go support chelsea u fucking glory supporters!!! i hope arsenal keep losing to get rid of u lot!! idiots!! disgraceful support for arsenal! man u got lucky! they jus sat back and countered- which is fair enuff but wen they scored the 1st lucky goal (almunia did have a bad game) wen we were ‘attack’ meant we had to go even more attacking = open to another counter attack which man u scored again and then made us go all out attack and then they scored the 3rd!! we coulda scored 5 goals easy!! jus unlucky!
so wot if we lose to man u and prob again to chelsea! trust me i would love it if we beat them but we dont need to beat them to win the title!! there is 3 big teams in this league right now and we r 1 of them!! we can beat the other 17 teams! and if we do that then we can win the premiership!! our players/tactics do not work against chelsea/man u as they are stronger physically and jus as fast as us! they can afford to let us play real football..get unlucky and then hit us on the break and get a lucky drogba knee/back of the head goal!!! we might have a chance if we played negative, sat back and played long ball footy! but wait a min…u fans on here would b going crazy and calling for wengers head cause he dont play good foot anymore!! lol!
so as im a real arsenal fan..i am open minded and trust wenger and understand why we lost! luck is a big part of it!! u lot really dont kno how good u got it!! we play amazing footy, we r not in debt, beautiful stadium, young talented squad! yes squad..id like to see chelsea/man u with 10 players constantly out all season and missin rooney/drogba or anelka for the whole season!! im impressed how our SQUAD has got us this far!! doubt any other teams with our injuries/luck could do this well!! trophies?? ok..league cup or qualify for champions league?? say 3rd/4th place finish…the league cup is shit! i would much rather b in the champions league each season than win a shitty trophy!! oh yeah i forgot..u r all glory supporters..need instant success!! go west..chelsea will give u that!! mugs!! the mighty arsenal is set up for life right now!! i kno u lot cant see the bigger picture but i can and we will stay at the top for the next 100 years! man u, lpool and chelski/citeh are in debt with old players, they might win the odd trophy right now but there future is noway near as bright as ours!!! think about that!! ur all pathetic! i thoguth arsenal fans were open minded and supportive!! obviously not!! makes me feel sick…fabregas..leave now mate..go to barca where the real fans will love ya and support u in everyway..ur too good for these arsenal fans here!!

    • Nicky says:

“get a lucky drogba knee/back of the head goal!!! we might have a chance if we played negative!

      Are you a voyer?

Stop talking about Chelsea all the time, you act like you are in awe of them!

Droba’s goals were not exactly luch were they
      ?…

  86. Samuel says:

Hah! What can I say except that Mr. Wenger has refused to learn form his mistakes for 3 seasons now. He sold Adebayor and Toure without any replacement. (not that he shouldn’t have sold them but there ought to have been a replacement for at least, Adebayor. Thereafter, Van Persie got an annoying injury from a friendly match yet, Wenger refused to get a replacement. He believe so much in his present squad but how many times have they let him and the fans down. He loves Bedtner and in his mind, he believes the boy can replace(stand in for) Van Persie, but Bedtner puts out average performance and can’t do what Robin does. So is Eduardo who is still afraid to put his legs firmly on the ball or make tackles because of that injury he suffered. Rosicky is still struggling to pick up his form. Nasri believes in playing the ball behind him than in front of him, or how do you explain why he play that ball into the United net the same way Rooney scored the 2nd for United? Rather, Nasri chose to pass the ball. The only signing made by Wenger is Sol Campbell’s free signing but is Wenger going to use him for league matches? Wenger has refused to see that his team is too weak and that is why he has failed to win any trophy for three seasons now, apart from the Emirate cup, a cup that had no real opposition. Moreso, these players get injured too often, which is the more reason Wenger needs to strengthen the team with not only new signings, but strong, experience and world-class players. Unfortunately, the January window will close in a couple of hours and we will have to wait till June. Can we cope?

  87. bryan says:

arshavin talks so much am tired of him. if he was half as serious in the pitch as he is talking about players to be bought, high taxes, how we will or we will not win the title, hw would have known that passing the ball to nasri will have put arsenal up one nil.
i love arsenal but i have stopped anticipating anything. i cant hope to win anything and i cant hope the manager signs someone or that he drops denilson coz that will probably not happen for sometime. i have decided to go from game to game.

  88. ben says:

Actually agree this time! ….well said!
    Arsenal sort it out!

  89. Gooner89 says:

As ever we can beat 80% of teams we play – however when the big games come along it just highlights our weaknesses time & time again.
Yet again we play a weakened team in the FA cup – we get beaten & the rot sets in again.
Wake up Wenger – we are a 3rd/4th placed team in the League & a semi final team in the ECL. Why can you not see that??
We need top quality signings if we are ever to take that next step up to WINNING something.
With Almunia, Denilson, Walcott we will never win a thing.

  90. iluvafc says:

Some comments about Arshavin & Rosicky were a bit harsh imo.
Yes Arshavin was selfish on occasions, but he must have looked at the fruitcakes available to him & thought “I might as well take a crack myself.”
As for Rosicky if one can see beyond the pathetic shambles on the pitch he did try to make the best out of the dire situation we got ourselves into. At the very least he was constructive in his play.
Nasri however was like a passenger.
The defence was leaky, our fullbacks can’t cross the ball, Song is slow, Walcott is overrated, Eboue is a clown etc.. We’ve all known that for ages now so there’s no point crying over spilt milk.
    But I can see there’s one thing we can all agree on;
Almunia is a mutated clone of cow fecal matter & Denilson is actually a girl genetically reprogrammed inside a retarded boy’s body.

  91. J5 says:

sure aluminium is crap – but, you would shit a brick too, if for most of the game, your defenders were only dots on the horizon – but it was arsenals tatics left them down – the top teams should realise that Man U are pussies when against top quality – they compact mid field and only play on the counter – because they are just not good enough to play arsenal at their own game. Arsenal have the quality but wenger was too cocky to sit back a little.
Being a Lpool supporter, I always here shit about Tor and Gerard being critical to our success. That may be true. What happens if Man U loose Rooney or in arsenals case van P.

By the way I don’t agree Man u tore arsenal apart. the score line could have easily been the other way around give the chances both sides had. And if only wengers knew the definition of the word defender.

Also, I cannot believe that so-called arsenal supporters are calling for Wengers head. So what if arsenal have not won anything in a few years. You are in a great position as a club. Every club in the prem. without exception would love to be in your position, including Man U (if they don’t win something every year. they are f*&ked). Besides it has always been the C league you should be concentrating on this season, because it’s your best hope. Best of luck

  92. leon says:

i think arsenal are rubbish as a team i wish arsene wenger get some f*cking brains and buy some one good like david villa most of the players wont get into bristol rovers football team except arshavin fabregas van persie .
do u actually pay those muppets i bet paulton rovers could off done better than them

  93. Don C says:

Wow!!! So after a lossing against Man U yesterday all of Arsenal players are now Crap? I love football fans. The same team was lambasted when the lost against Chelsea, 9 games later and on top of the PL table everyone was singing their praises. I bet if they win their next three matches and the everyone will change their tune again. We fans are such a fickle bunch.
Having said that, I still maintain as i have done for since the begining of the season that this team need a target man and a decent GK. I still also maintain that our MF is as good as any team in the PL. I also still maintain that, Bedtner is not good enough, he needs to up his game. Walcott should concentrate on ball control and not just running. He has the pace and with a decent ball control, we will be tearing teams apart.
Come end of the season, AW will regret not signing a striker and this January and not signing a GK this season. To think that he allowed Shay Given slipped……well, i rest my case. He is such a sturborn man plain and simple.

  94. ScotchEggsRule says:

“I could manage this lot better than him.”

No you couldn’t and your petulent whiney little post reflects what a completely spoilt little child you are.

  95. lee gould says:

i am sure you meant play eboue so when sagna went on the forward run eboue could cover instead of that lazy denilson who just jogs for 90 minutes .

  96. Darkins says:

Anyone wonder why this same f***** £30m figure comes out every F****** window?

wenger never spends it! so are they saying we’re not making money?

    Bullsh!T

I hate to say it but the assholes down the road will soon catch us if we carry on with this prick! team selection has been mind boggling for years now!

  97. Jazbo says:

I can’t understand how some gormless idiot blames Song calling slow, etc.
with out Song in the middle of the park we’d have been hammered by at least six goals, if you want to have a go at someone look no futher than these people:
Almuina – Useless joke of a keepr
Clichy – Is the guy palying a useless clone of a once great player?
Denilson – well I’ve defended him for the last time- he was garbage.
Arshavin – This little guy has big mouth always gobing off to the media, he’s not a team player, he only plays for him self, we could have had three goals if the greedy little git would pass the ball, he did the same thing last week.
    Fabregas – Where was he?
Gallas – He needs to be reminded he’s a defender not a midfielder or a striker, ran up the pitch so often i was wondering who was doing all the defending?
    Sort it out Arsene !!!

  98. Gooner 4 Life says:

i think the article u have written is too ccruel to be true..der r certain issues which WENGER needs to address.. but u r too critical..V need a 6ft + striker who can hold d ball n bring others into play who can win headers…EDU is in a slump..tats it else he’s very good..wen Persie is fit the DUO r lethal..u have to check that v r d leading goal scorers across Europe..d mentality of our team is to attack..v need to be a bit more composed in the midfield and provide cover to our defenders..our entire team is attacking and on the fall back v have no cover..So dn be tooo critical..be a true supporter..HAIL ARSENAL

  99. Vish says:

We had 4 important games this season till now and have lost against MU(Home and Away), MC and Chelsea. To get points from these games is very much important in the title race. We cannot depend on other teams to drop points for us.

We had an awful game against chelsea and MU.We need a striker who can hold the ball pass it on to wide players and move towards goal for the return ball.

Right now we are playing with Arshavin as central striker. I don’t think he can win us games from there.Let him play his natural role of a winger. He is great there making runs from wide side (remeber a run against blackburn)

Also we did not had good passing game against MU.Arshavin had two chances where in he could have passed the ball to Nasri.

We need a defensive midfielder like Patrick Viera. So that Cesc could play his attacking game.I think a thought runs into his mind getting back to defend as Denilson and other midfielders loose ball very easily to a physical challenge. Sometimes you get free kicks out of the challenge, otherwise it creates lot of pressure on back four.

We have a decent goal keeper in Almunia but he does make mistake in big games.

Hope we doesn’t loose any more places in league.

We does not expect to get big names to the club, but we do expect to get big match players.

  100. […] £30m to spend but yet Wenger would rather keep this pile of sh#t out on the pitch today? HOW CAN… It is true, convert one of the early chances and have a semi competent keeper to prevent Nani’s […] […]
