Whats going on with the current bunch of Arsenal players? Are they made out of glass?

Never seen so many players break bones or pick up knocks.

Maybe its the famous diet that Wenger has got the Arsenal players on that’s the problem? Wenger feeds them Broccoli and Yogurt with a bottle of Evian Water.

Maybe that’s what the problem is? Wenger should be feed them steaks and raw eggs and toughen them up abit.

This cant be put down to bad luck? Something seriously is going wrong at Arsenal for us to be picking up so many injuries. Maybe its the training methods or the way the players warm up etc? But personally I think the diet is playing a major part in this.

And with this in mind why have we allowed so many players to leave on loan? Now we are down to the bare bones and we the return game to Barca and a north london derby coming up we could really use the likes of Senderos, Wilshere, Lansbury and Jay Thomas.

Now with Gallas,Cesc and Arshavin all likely to miss the rest of the season we are going to have to rely on the likes of Silvestre, Denilson and Eboue to win us the league and get us the result in Spain.

A very tall order with our best players. But with our most gifted players now missing its going to be mission impossible.

Makes you wonder if only Wenger would have gone out and used some of that £30m we got from the sales of Toure and Adebayor we might have been in a stronger position to win something this season.

But now it looks like this season will end the same way as the previos 5, a season that promised so much that ends in nothing.

Will the summer see Wenger go out and sing some reenforcments?

Or maybe that Pen by Cesc on wed night was his last kick for Arsenal and we are going to do what we always do and sell our best players and pocket the cash.

For me we need a massive clear out in the summer, Starting with Pat Rice. Then the likes of Eduardo, Denilson, Almunia need to be shown the door.

Bring in a new keeper or give the young lad Wojciech Szczesny a chance. Sign 2 Centerbacks and a ball winner in midfield to replace the weak and slow Denilson. I feel sorry for Eduardo but its clear to me that this lad is never going to be the same player he was. And in this new 4-5-1 system he is just dead wood. Eduardo needs to play in a 4-4-2 as he cant play on the wings and he weak as the lone striker.

So thats it…
Feed the players some streaks. Lose Pat Rice, and the deadwood players….SPEND a small bit of money and we might win something..

fawlty manuel

fawlty manuel strikes again…..

Birmingham substitute Kevin Phillips scored a stoppage-time equaliser as Arsenal’s title challenge was blown off course in a bruising encounter.

After a dull first half that finished 0-0 Wenger made a double change with Nasri and

in the 81 minutes Nasri scored a goal of real quality. He picked up the ball 40 yards out and charged to the edge of the box before unleashing a right-footed strike into the far corner.

In the last few mins with Birmingham pushing for an equaliser, gaps were opening up at the back and Nasri should have made it 2-0 but missed when one on one with Hart.

But the Gunners paid the ultimate penalty as a Hart free-kick was only half-cleared allowing Craig Garder to clip the ball back into the box for Kevin Phillips to poke it towards goal and through Almunia’s hands for a dramatic late equaliser.

From our man at goodison park and member of Arsenal Action Evertonian

“Rumors around Goodison today was that Louis Saha will join Arsenal for 5mill, The deal could be a player plus cash deal with Philippe Senderos going to Everton”

Saha was rested for the FA cup game today at home to Carlisle and the rumor  coming out of the club is that he is on his way to Arsenal.

31 year old Saha who has already scored 12 goals this season is currently on a “‘pay-as-you-play’ deal at Everton.

“Arsenal Fans” who will stick by wenger and never say a bad world about him. Even when its clear that he has made many mistakes.

Wenger is now under pressure and it is showing. At times he is starting to become an embarrassment to the club with his childish spiteful ways.

I hate the fact that he just cant put his hands up and say “we got beat by the better team” without blaming the ref, or international fixtures or other issues.

Wenger will never admit that maybe “HE” is to blame and that’s the problem. He seems to think that he is some sort of religious guru of football and the problem for us Arsenal fans is that there is a group of wenger lovers who think that he can do no wrong and is GOD!

The board love wenger, The problem is that Wenger has taken the CLUB forward but the TEAM backwards in recent years.

Wenger now seems to care more about balancing the books then anything. Wenger has turned this club into a youth hostel.

I agree that Tony Adams should have been given a role at the club. Along with Keown and Bergkamp.

The problem is this. Wenger has got a team of “YES MEN” people like Pat Rice who just seem to sit on the bench and nod there head at everything that wenger says. None of them have the balls to question wenger or have the skills to become the next number 1.

Wenger has made himself unsackable & when fans take all those “In Arsene We Trust” signs to matches and have pointless idiotic “we worship Arsene Wenger” marches through the streets of London. Some of the fans are to shoulder some of the blame for Wenger’s arrogance and disrespect for the fans.

I received a lot of abuse for my last article….i take it constructively however, as ive been where so many of you have.

Many posters who have interacted with me have actually criticised me for my constant enthusian and positivity regarding Arsene and the club.

My last article had a lot of emotion yes, but i also feel i spoke a lot of sense. many of you constrewed my comments to be that of a plastic fan….any who thought that are dead fucking wrong. im no plastic fan, sure, ive been a fan for not as long as some of you, around 8 years, but the FIRST football match i EVER sat down and watched in totality was an Arsenal match. until i saw that game i had NO interest in football. none at all….but the way they played made me love them. in fact, the first game i was saw, they lost to southampton, i had no knowledge of the league, how good arsenal were, or WHO they were, but i loved the club and the players.

Now, when i decide to speak my mind, im a fucking plastic? I would follow this club to the depths of the non football league, i LOVE this club, i BREATHE for arsenal…seeing them lose crushes my spirit….on behalf of myself, the other fans and even the players….i cant STAND to see us lose.

how about you people opening your eyes??? i UNDERSTAND what you’re saying, arsene has done so MUCH for the club, and i thank him eternally for that, but what of the more recent seasons, is it really unreasonable to suggest the club is seemingly standing still? really? i understand we may lose players if arsene leaves….and this is one of the reasons i still feel hesitancy about him leaving, but what if he stays…will we truly improve?

at the end of the day, as much as my brain says he needs to leave, theres still a section of my heart which wants him to stay here….out of pure admiration and beleife in the man which has done so much, but the question i keep asking myself…is has he got it in him to do any better? can he adapt to the way things are going….

if he truly could help us move forward….then of course….keep him…but i truly wonder if he can.

I see myself as a fair man, so, heres an Invitation i extend, if anyone has a rebuttal ARTICLE (not some bullshit post filled with ridiculous insults aimed at me) then send it through to arsenalaction@live.co.uk and we’ll post it on our blog.

Today former captain and Arsenal legend Frank Mclintock said what most Arsenal fans feel but are to embarrassed to admit.

Only a few minutes ago Frank mclintock was being interviewed on talksport, and said that Arsene Wenger has lost the plot at Arsenal, Frank mclintock said that “90% of Arsenal fans can all see that Arsenal need players in certain areas, but yet Wenger cant see it” , He also went on to say that “this was the worst Arsenal side in the 12 years under Wenger”.

Good on you Frank, Very well said!

Do we agree with him?

Arsene Wenger was left frustrated

Arsene Wenger was left frustrated.

Our 3rd 0-0 draw in a row!

Whats it down to? Bad luck? Poor finishing? Poor tactics?…..Well maybe a abit of all

6pts behind Villa now and still in 5th place. its not looking good for the gooners and it looks like there will be no champions league football at Arsenal for the first time under Wenger.

On a bright note. Arshavin was MOTM for Arsenal today. 2 great runs and unlucky not to score. Very impressed with AA.

Lets imagine everybody was fit (even Rosicky) what would be our best starting 11 and what formation would YOU play?

We now seem to have some fantastic attacking options at the club, Ive just tried to pick an 11 (see below) and it really is not as easy as you think.

Were is Arshavin going to play? I think Wenger will start to play a 4-3-3 at Arsenal like so…

——————– Almunia
-Sagna–Toure—————Gallas–Clichy-
—–Cesc———-Denilson——-Nasri
———–Arshavin———RVP
——————–Eduardo

A lot of people were asking about Adebayor’s tattoos, so he took a few minutes for show and tell.
